Toilet graffiti in 'Kaminey' hurts Lord Jagannath devotees Apna Haath Jagannath was written outside the toilet door where Shahid locks himself up in after a squabble with Priyanka Chopra in Kaminey. Apparantly, the toilet joke hasn't gone well with Jagannath Sena Sangathan in Puri.

A section of the sevayats today lodged a police complaint against UTV Motion pictures alleging that a scene in the Hindi film Kaminey had denigrated Lord Jagannath. Yesterday the sevayats had burnt posters of the film here.

"Lord Jagannath has been shown in poor light in the movie. In a scene, it has been written 'Apna Hath Jagannath' in the toilet with a semi-clad model under the writing. It has hurt the sentiments of Jagannath devotees," a member of the Sangathan.

Sensing trouble cinema hall owners at Bhubaneswar today deleted the scene from the film. They have informed the distributors of Kaminey in this regard.

People at Puri including local BJD MLA Mr Maheswar Mohanty said the scene had hurt the sentiments of devotees and the producer must apologise. Mr Mohanty said that he will move the state government to take up the issue with the producer of the movie.
