For Sammir Dattani and Minissha Lamba, there are reasons to celebrate. Their film WELL DONE ABBA, which is directed by Shyam Benegal, has been the chosen one for the 33rd Montreal World Film Festival. The film would be screened throughout the weekend and has been selected for the ‘World Greats' section in the Film Festival.

Says Sammir, "It's an honor to have the film showcased at a festival as prestigious as Montreal World Film Festival."

For Sammir, this side of 2009 is turning out to be great since he has also been cast in a triangular love-story being produced by Karan Johar. The film also stars Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor.

Minissha too is excited about WELL DONE ABBA since as per her; Shyam Benegal wanted her character to be someone who stands on her own. She says, "Even though the film has a village setting, I play an educated girl in WELL DONE ABBA. Shyam sir is very pro-education of girl child; this is something that he feels very strongly about."

The film has been narrated in a comic and ironic vein. It is an engaging story of Armaan Ali (Boman Irani), a driver working in Mumbai.

He takes leave for a month to find a husband for his teenage daughter, who lives in a small locality close to Hyderabad. Armaan Ali returns to work only after 3 months. His young employer wants to sack him but is persuaded to listen to the reason why Armaan got so delayed.

The film is set to release in theatres across India in December.
