Bollywood movie Aitraaz is being remade in Kannada and Telugu as Srimathi. Directed by debutant director Sampath, the film will star Celina Jaitley who will be making her Kannada debut.

News is that it will also star yesteryear Bollywood villain, Prem Chopra. Upendra and Priyanka will play the lead roles. Popular cinematographer Johny Lal is also returning to films after 11 years with Srimathi.
