Riteish Deshmukh is just like all of us. He too, always dreamt of finding a Genie by rubbing a lamp.

"I used to rub everything from lamps to glasses to other kitchen utensils. But my Genie never came out" he exclaims.

But then he met Director Sujoy Ghosh and one of his most cherished wishes came true– that of working with Amitabh Bachchan in Eros International's ‘Aladin'.

"For me, having Mr Bachchan as my Genius (that's what the Genie is called in Aladin) was truly a wish come true and I don't think there's anything more to ask for. I was always waiting for an opportunity to work with Big B and when Aladin happened, I was elated"

Riteish says that ‘Aladin' is a dream role for him as it's a character that everyone loves and each one of us would love to be Aladin and have our wishes fulfilled by a Genie.

Admitting that he's super excited about ‘Aladin', Riteish says, "Aladin has everything from romance to action, comedy and adventure. I've never worked on something like this before."
