/> The horror film Hide & Seek directed by Shawn Aranhna that was shot at a stretch between July and September at a mall in Ahmedabad underwent a horror experience beyond the camera which nearly took away a technician's life.

Arjan Bajwa (of Fashion) who is part of the film's cast feigns total ignorance of the matter.

But the more forthright Purab Kohli admits there was indeed a near-fatal accident on location in Ahmedabad, though he's unable to pinpoint the date.

Says Purab, "He was the gaffer. He didn't die. But he was badly injured. We were shooting all night and then we returned to our hotel. In the morning we heard one of the buses carrying the crew met with an accident and had overturned. While other members of the unit got light injuries a gaffer Rishi and a lightman Pappu had serious injuries."

Apparently Rishi nearly lost his leg. Admits Purab, "Rishi would've lost his leg if the production team hadn't acted quickly.Rishi underwent a complicated surgery. By the grace of God he's recovering."

The matter was quickly hushed up and swept under the nearest carpet since the injured technician survived and is now recovering. But the matter and the way it was completely kept away from the media once again brings to light the question of the safety of the crew specially the less important technicians on location.
