Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has plans to debut in Malayalam films.

The actress, who is still being showered with praise for her role in ‘Paa', is hoping to do a Malayalam film since she has quite many offers. All she needs is to be able to get some time out of her tight schedule to fit in a Malayalam film. She hopes to do at least one Malayalam film in 2010.

Meanwhile, she is gearing up for her first ever-negative role in ‘Ishqiya' and is keeping her fingers crossed for it. She adds that it was a great experience playing Amitabh Bachchan's mother in ‘Paa'.
