SRK turned out to be knight in shining armour for Asin Thottumkal when he saved the southern hottie from the mob of 300 at a recent event in Mumbai.

It happened at a recent event in Mumbai. Asin was backstage and ready to go on stage when a huge mob surrounded her and a few fans got too close for her comfort. Some even tried touching the actress, who had no security with her.

He, along with his bodyguards immediately pierced through the crowd and reached Asin before the actress could be mobbed. The bodyguards instantly formed a circle around Shahrukh and Asin and whisked them away from the maddening crowd.

According to a source, before the crowd could realise what was happening, Shah Rukh with his six bodyguards reached where Asin was standing. He grabbed her hand with his right hand and with his left, he caught hold of Asin's spokesperson and dragged them outside.

Reports say Asin was a bit rattled by the incident but SRK calmed her nerves and also told her to keep two bodyguards for public appearances.
