Talking of similarities, another film which seems to have freely lifted a number is the Aamir-Saif-Akshaye starrer Dil Chahta Hai.

The number Woh Ladki Hai Kahan sounds very similar to the Corr`s instrumental number Paul McCarthy. The violin rendition is almost exactly the same. Must say, looks like copy times are back again!
