Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who is usually seen in macho roles, has turned into a micro gaming character 'Fun-Key' for the second level of a unique promotional campaign for Pepsi, which also features Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor.

In the second level of the campaign - Pepsi The Game that will hit the small screen Thursday, Vindu will be seen as a one-foot tall gaming character. He says he had lots of fun while shooting the adventurous advertisement.

"It's a little devilish kind of a character. I have done lots of villain roles before, but this is something special. It was fun to do it and hope the public enjoys it and has fun for the next seven days, " Vindu told IANS.

As Funk-Key, Vindu, son of former wrestling champion Dara Singh, will challenge Ranbir, whose character is stuck under water in the first level.

Asked if donning this new avatar was tough, he said: "I have been through the 'Bigg Boss' house, I have played a tough character like Lord Hanuman on TV before. So this is nothing in front of that. The costume is heavy and since it is very hot, so one starts sweating, otherwise it's all okay."

Vindu was all praise for Ranbir.

"Ranbir is future number one, there is no doubt about that. He is a well brought up child and his parents have done a great job. He respects everyone. He meets everyone with lots of love. He is a good human being and it's always fun to work with him, " he said.

In the upcoming level of Pepsi The Game, actor Sanjay Dutt, who plays the game master, sends his undersized champ to stop Ranbir from getting closer to his Pepsi.

According to sources, Vindu himself named his character Funk-Key as he found the look extremely funky and he is shown guarding a key that Ranbir has to find to reach his Pepsi and his girl, actress Jacqueline Fernandez.

"When Pepsi guys approached me with the concept and a sketch of the look, I asked them if they're making the Indian version of 'Star Wars'. I had to wear a funky orange, silver and green costume, which was quite heavy and I had to fly wearing the same in one of the sequences using harness so, it was tough but lots of fun, " he said.
