Sukhwinder Singh recently shared his thoughts about working on his first film as an actor, Kuchh Kariye. He states that when he first heard the title track of the film, he was strongly reminded of Pink Floyd. He states that was because the song had the out of the world elements that Floyd's music was known for.

It was after he heard the song that he agreed to take on the lead role in the film. The director, debutante Jagbir Dahiya came to him with the track, Kuchh Kariye, which reminded Sukhwinder of Pink Floyd's song, The Wall.

Sukhwinder states that since he's already a hero, there's no need for him to become one. He expresses that he's always open to good work, more so if it has a hard hitting message. Sukhwinder has performed the songs of the film, which releases on April 23.

Sukhwinder believes that words are a very strong weapon. His role in the film is that of a musician who solves problems without debating and discussing unnecessarily and simply reaching out to the people with his music and lyrics.

He admits to putting in a lot of effort into the film. He has been interacting with some of the industry's best and watching lots of movies to gain an idea of acting. Though movie roles do excite him, he still wants to be a musician forever as music is his soul.
