Internationally acclaimed Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur will be on the jury panel at the prestigious 63rd Cannes Film Festival, being held May 12-23.

Kapur, known for his movies "Masoom", "Mr.India" "Bandit Queen" and international projects "Elizabeth" and "Elizabeth - The Golden Age", will be on the feature film jury panel along with director Tim Burton, British actress Kate Beckinsale and others.

Last year, veteran actress and censor board chief Sharmila Tagore was on the jury and in 2003, Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai graced the jury.
