A day after we revealed that Rahul Roy has snubbed Swastik Pictures show for Colors, it is now learnt that the production house has approached actor-director Deepak Tijori, who incidentally had worked with Roy in the film Aashiqui.

Confirming the news, Tijori says, "Siddhart Tewary (producer) is a dear friend. He's casually approached me for the same but so far, there's nothing on paper. I'll be holding talks with them in near future and it's only then that things will become clear."

Tijori has appeared in TV shows such as Bigg Boss and Bombay Blue.

As reported yesterday, this untitled daily is loosely based on the 1978 film Muqaddar ka Sikandar.
