Sameera Reddy got into trouble with the cops a few days ago. She was pulled up by a traffic cop for being on the phone while driving. But the policeman was eager to let her off only after she would bribe him.

Sameera was driving on the highway near the Santacruz airport. The cop thought she was talking to someone on the phone and pulled her up.

She tried explaining to him that she was just singing some song while listening to it on her phone. He told her that she had broken the law. So when she asked him how much the fine would be, he refused to write the amount on the slip.

On hearing her protests, another cop joined them but didn't help her in any way. The first cop then started to say that she was an actress so obviously she didn't have the time to go to court, thus hinting at a bribe.

Sameera finally ended up paying nothing because when the cops were trying to coax her into bribing them, some people gathered around her cop and wanted to know what was going on. After the people began to recognize her, the cops started to feel awkward and let her leave.
