Our very own famed standup comedian and actor Vir Das is a star when it comes to his rib tickling one liners. But not many are aware of the fact that Vir has a penchant for getting tattoos on his body.

One such incident took place while he was shooting for Yash Raj's Badmaash Company with Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Chang.

Most of the scenes in the movie involve Vir being shirtless baring his washboard abs on the beautiful beaches of Bangkok. But the only issue was that for this he had to spend hours covering his already existing tattoos in the makeup room.

While shooting in Bangkok, Vir decided to opt for one more tattoo on his arm. One of his favourite tattoo artists happened to be touring Thailand, and Vir just had to get a new tattoo.

The next day, he got a good scolding from the director Parmeet Sethi as it would now take more time to cover his tattoos than before, and would hold up the shoot even longer. In fact, Vir was joined by about 14 or 15 members of the crew who after seeing his, came home with new tattoos as well.

But of course this was all in good humour. Says Vir smilingly "Yes, I did get a tattoo done in Bangkok and Parmeet did scold me for it but it was nothing serious and was all in good humour. Parmeet and I hit it off right from the first day of shoot. He has an amazing vision and it was a delight to work with Parmeet."
