She is the one who helped you take your first steps, helped you overcome the stumbling blocks of life and made you the person you are today. So, if you want your mother to feel special this Mothers' Day, dedicate the best mother's song to her.

On this special occasion lists few of the best Bollywood songs dedicated to moms.

"Maa da laadla": If you want things to be light and funny, you can go ahead with this hit "Dostana" song picturised on John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. Penned by Kumaar and composed by Vishal and Shekhar, the song that lampoons a spoilt son is replete with hilarious punches.

"Mumma": A sweet, happy song from Vinay Pathak starrer "Dasvidaniya", "Mumma" instantly touches a chord. The song was written, composed and sung by Kailash Kher for the movie that came in 2008.

"Meri maa": This National Award winning song, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and written by Prasoon Joshi, brought tears to everyone's eyes thanks to the lyrics and the music. In the song, a child talks about his loneliness when his mother is not around. It was picturised on Darsheel Safary in the hit film "Taare Zameen Par" (2007).

"Maye ni maye": One of the popular songs depicting a friendly relationship between a daughter and a mother was "Maye ni maye" from the film "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun?" that was a blockbuster when released in 1994. Picturised on Madhuri Dixit, it was a huge hit. Raam Laxman had composed it Lata had sung it.

"Teri ungli": Anil Kapoor sang this song in "Laadla" (1994) for Farida Jalal, whose character suffers from paralysis in the film. The song basically revolves around how a son should take care for his mother the way she did when he was a kid.

"Kushiyon ka din aaya hai": It is one of the most popular mother-son songs that had hit the screens in the 1990s. The song featured in the super hit film "Beta" (1992) that had Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles. It was crooned by Anuradha Paudwal, composed by Anand-Milind and written by Sameer.

"Mummy o mummy": If you want to have some fun, then this is the song for you. "Mummy o mummy" is a hilarious and brings about few lighter moments. The song that featured in 1978 film "Khatta Meetha" was sung by Kishore Kumar. The lyrics were by Gulzar and it was composed by Rajesh Roshan.

"Tu kitni achhi hai": When you think about songs dedicated to mothers, this song from the film "Raja Aur Rank" (1968) always comes in mind. Sung in praise of a mother, it was written by Anand Bakshi and composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Lata Mangeshkar went behind the mike for the song.

"Ae maa teri surat se alag": This is from the 1966 film "Daadi Maa". Sung by Mahendra Kapoor and composed by Rajesh Roshan, the song compares a mother with the almighty and talks about her importance in children's lives.
