A R Rahman is sure to have many more names added to his fan list, and these new fans are going to be parents and little kids gearing up to learn nursery rhymes in an all new way! Yes, the Oscar winning music composer's students have now composed our old popular rhymes in a new cool way.

Saregama India, the renowned music label, has taken its initial steps in edutainment. They have come up with an all new Rhymeskool Vol. 1 for nursery kids.

This album consists of old nursery rhymes like 'Twinkle Twinkle' and many more with completely new tunes. Students from A R Rahman's music school KM Music Conservatory, Chennai, composed the music for this album under his supervision.

A R Rahman, along with Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, launched the album recently. 'Twinkle Twinkle' and 'Flowers', a newly composed rhyme, were played to give the media and the audiences a preview of the album. Katrina Kaif has given narration in the album and she did it for free as it is for a charitable cause.

The Bollywood Beauty was shocked to hear the new versions of simple old rhymes. She feels that they now almost sound like a rap song. Well the times are now fast changing and even kids preferences. Rahman claims that his son downloads new applications, which even he doesn't use, on his own personal i-pad.
