Ramu is known for his dark films but he has uncanny taste for music. Even in his earlier films he brought to light
the voice of today Sunidhi Chauhan who became popular with Ruki Ruki in Urmila Matondkar starrer film Mast.
Now with his August release Rakta Chritra he is bringing to light a sweet melodious voice of classically trained
Suparna Acharya which will remind people of the melody queen Lata Mangeshkar.
Born in Srirampur Hoogli District near Kolkatta, Suparna has acquired training from many legendary gurus and also
worked as a vocalist with renowned Pandit Birju Maharaj.
Music of Rakta Charitra is by established composers cum background scorers Bapi- Tutul. Mere Pyaare Bhaiya is
an emotional family track rendered in the voice of the talented singer. "Suparna surely has the potential to
please all ears with her heart warming voice" claims Tutul who has been immensely impressed with her voice.
Hoping for a name to reckon Suparna says, "My interest in singing was recognized by my family in my early childhood
and since the age of 5 I have acquired classical singing training from various respected Guru's. I have also done many
stage shows to bring out my talent.
Today after sharing platform with many renowned classical singers I want
to explore my talent in film industry where music plays an essential part of the film. I firmly believe that no reality show
can bring out true potential. My claim to fame will be my hard work and determination".
