The suspense over who will adjudicate India's Got Talent 2 seems to be lifting. Initially, the jury was to be retained until
Shekhar Kapur got busy with Mr. India.
Anurag Basu was being talked about as a possible replacement, but
as it turns out, it's not Basu but actor-turned-director Sajid Khan who has signed for the show. It's widely buzzed that
Sonali Bendre, who judged Season One, might be replaced too, but the former Bollywood actress is said to retain her
place.
"Sajid Khan is confirmed as a judge. Sonali Bendre too is pretty much on board. The only one who hasn't signed on
the dotted line yet is Kirron Kher.
One is hoping that Kher too makes the cut. The auditions got delayed
because the jury was still to be finalised. There's no change in the hosts. The auditions will commence early next
month in Kolkata, " a source revealed.
When contracted, Khan said, "I'm sorry but as per my contract, I'm not supposed to reveal anything." Bendre, Kher too
usually echo such comment.
As always, the channel and the production remain tight lipped on such issues. No matter who judges or hosts, in the
end, it's the talent on display that help run the show.
