Bollywood director Kaizad Gustad, who directed the awful movie Boom, is going to serve jail time, but of course not for the disastrous movie! He was responsible for the death of Nadia Khan in 2004 while filming the
movie Mumbai Central at Mahalaxmi station. She got killed by a train while shooting for the film.
Kaizad was tried in court in 2009 but he faced much lenient charges on court orders. The defense team gave evidence that Gustad should have shot the scene on platform one, where no trains were running; instead he
was shooting it on a track near platform four, where she was killed.
Nadia Khan was just 26 years old, when she was assisting Kaizad Gustad in the film and had to face the worst.
Recently, the railway court found the director guilty of Nadia Khan's death due to his "rash and negligent act". He was also fined rupees 75, 000 by the court. He might get to serve 10 years in prison. Earlier, Gustad
had spent some time in reprimand prison.
Kaizad is currently out on bail and his appeal is currently pending.
