SAB TV's 'Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah' has come up with the very sensitive topic of saving water and stop wasting water. As the concept was good, it was sure to be appreciated. And that is exactly what happened!

A source says, "The Deputy Mayor of Mumbai Mahanagar Palika, Shailja Girkar and corporator Janak Sanghavi are huge fans of the comedy serial, 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'.

She, along with the corporator not only visited the sets but also congratulated the team on making a genuine effort to spread public awareness. The episode with the Deputy Mayor of Mumbai will be telecast on Tuesday, 15th at 8:30 pm."

Comments the director Asit Modi, "She has appealed to people to save water and practice water harvesting, together with the team of the serial. It is going to be the highlight for the ongoing series of the serial.

She also said that 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is a serial which is enjoyed by the entire family. According to her, this serial makes people forget their worries and provides clean entertainment along with relevant social messages."
