Mahesh Bhatt had tweeted that the real reason why Anupam Kher turned down the film My Friend Hitler was because his wife Soni Razdan's mother has discouraged him for doing the role.

It was assumed that she did so because she was a Jew. However, the lady denies having anything to do with Kher not doing the film. The mystery continues....
