It will some more time before Vikram Bhatt enters television. The thriller which the 1942 director had planned to make for Star Plus has been axed on the channel's insistence.

Vikram had even shot a pilot episode and shooting was supposed to begin last month, but the channel decided that they no longer wish to include it in their list of programming.

It was supposed to be aired from 11pm to 11.30 pm, after Ekta Kapoor's 10 pm show Tere Liye, but now those plans have been cancelled.

The channel has also cancelled a BBC thriller just before its shooting began.
