Genelia D'Souza is all set to play a Portuguese princess in Santosh Sivan's next directorial venture Urumi.

Urumi tells the story of young man in 15th century India who sets out to kill Vasco Da Gama, the Portuguese explorer who has just reached Indian shores.

Genelia will play a Portuguese princess and Southern superstar Prithviraj will play the leader of the gang that's plotting to kill Vasco Da Gama.

Urumi will be a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam and will be shot in Malshej Ghat from this August.
