Imagine TV is having a difficult time to pick a suitable groom/bride for its upcoming swayamvar series.

The likes of Kamal Rahsid Khan, Bobby Darling, Sherlyn Chopra are said to have evinced interest in opting for a swyamavar, but Imagine isn't prepared to foot their bill. 'Bigg Boss 2' and 'Roadies' winner Ashutosh Kaushik has now thrown his hat into the ring.

Apparently, rumors began to circulate that Kaushik has approached Imagine to consider him for swayamvar.

When contacted, the reality show star expressed surprise at the story.

"No, I haven't approached Imagine but now that you've told me, I don't mind taking it up. You can pass my plea to Imagine. I want to settle down in a year's time. If I find a girl, I'll marry her. If not, then either I'd like to go for a swayamvar, or I'll simply ask my mother to find a gilr for me."

Kaushik is currently seen in Colors show 'Kitchen Champion 2'. Apparently, his family doesn't regard him highly as a cook.

"I've been carrying certain dishes (made in the show) to home but my mother and sister have always found some fault in it. They tend to find fault with most of my things. But that's mothers are for. They expect you to give your best every time."
