Ahmedabad girl Binny Sharma, who charmed her way into everybody's heart earlier this year as the lovely, ever- smiling, graceful dancer from Master Geeta Kapoor's team in season 2 of Dance India Dance (DID), is thrilled to bits on finding out that she has been cast as the main lead of Zee TV's next big-ticket show.

While the name of the show is yet to be frozen, the grapevine has it that the show is an out-and-out love story.

Confirming the news, Sukesh Motwani, Programming Head- Fiction, Zee TV said, "Yes, we've finalized Binny as the main lead for our next big project. Binny's not just a pretty face. The girl has a fresh, natural innocence and possesses the spunk and spontaneity required for the role."

Set against the backdrop of picture-perfect Haridvar, this love story is slated to bloom on your TV screens in early August.

So will Binny be seen doing what she's best known for?

"Well, this isn't a dance show. So this time around, you will see Binny, the actress. Not the dancer. But then again, you never know!" said Sukesh with a smile.

Sounding ecstatic about the big role she's bagged, Binny said, "I'm on cloud 9 ever since I've got the good news. Not winning Dance India Dance may have been a slight letdown but bagging this role more than compensates for it. It's a dream come true and I intend to put in my very best."

Go knock 'em out with your charisma, Binny!
