Sony Entertainment Television is going to wrap up its show 'Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah' in a few days. The show was
launched on June 1, 2010 with Archana Taide in the lead role.
Earlier, there was a buzz that the lead girl Anmol will be replaced by a new face. But now, the channel has decided
to axe the show totally.
According to Varun Badola, who plays Kaliprasad in the show, the time slot of 'Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah' has taken a
toll. The timing of the show collided with that of Zee TV's 'Jhansi Ki Rani' and Colors' 'Balika Vadhu', which are
already popular among the viewers. That is why the show failed to attract the attention of the viewers.
'Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah' received very poor ratings in the 8 pm slot on the weekdays. So, it will be taken off air on
September 2 when it completes only three months.
Confirming the news, producer Siddharth said, "We decided to wrap up the show as it didn't work well".
