Ashutosh Gowariker, a maverick filmmaker, is coming up with his next cinematic venture, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, in last month of this year.

The film slated for release on December 3 stars Abhishek Bachchan opposite Deepika Padukone. Based on Do and Die, one of the famous books by Manini Chatterjee, the movie is about the Chittagong Uprising of 1930.

In the movie, which is already in news for its connection with the history of freedom movement of India, Abhishek is playing Surya Sen, a legendary Bengali freedom fighter. To give his fans a sneak peek into the movie, the director himself revealed Abhishek's character on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Throwing light on the revolutionary character of Surya Sen, Ashutosh said that he was an ideal school teacher by profession. He was so popular among his students that he was fondly called 'Masterda'.

He was an inspiring figure to them. Surya Sen inculcated an unbending spirit into the students to go against the British rule in India and inflamed their passion for freedom. His contribution to the freedom movement was immense. He did not mind sacrificing his life for the sake of the country.

After 63 years of Independence, the movie is supposed to be a gift from Ashutosh to his countrymen.
