Vidya Balan has impressed everyone when she played a doting mother to megastar Amitabh Bachchan in 'Paa' but one who impressed her most is Abhishek Bachchan. The caring demeanor of junior Bachchan towards his father during the shooting has taken aback Vidya.

The actress was so touched by his love for his father that she expressed her desire to have a doting son like Abhishek in real life. The audience loved the chemistry between Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya in the movie but she grew fond of his caring attitude towards his father Amitabh Bachchan.

Vidya's wish must come true someday but the wish of audience has come true as they will see the actress sharing screen space with Abhishek again even for a cameo role. Director Rohan Sippy has signed the actress to play a cameo role in Abhishek Bachchan's upcoming movie 'Dum Maro Dum'.

On choosing Vidya for the role, a source was quoted saying that Rohan liked the chemistry between Vidya and Abhishek in Paa and believed that the two look very good together on screen. He approached Vidya and she liked the cameo and is likely to join the sets very soon, the source added.

According to a source from the unit, the cameo was not created for her rather there was a role and Rohan was searching for an Indian face for it and Vidya fitted it.

Even though, it's a cameo, audience can at least watch the lovely onscreen couple together again!
