Iqbal Khan, who is among the best looking actors on the small screen, is hoping that fasting during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan will help him get back in good shape.

"Ramzan with its day-time fasting is the ideal time to get in shape. With practically no carbohydrates during the day and a good helping of the scrumptious protein-rich chicken biryani after sunset, I'm pretty confident I'll get leaner and fitter along with my strenuous workouts," said Iqbal.

The actor, who became famous after "Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai", is seen in Zee TV's "Sanjog Se Bani Sangini" these days. His shooting schedule is often packed, leaving him with little time for exercise.

He is a member of a popular gym in Mumbai's Bandra that stays open 24 hours. That gives him the opportunity to even pump iron during the wee hours.
