Sharmila Tagore does not visit Kolkata as often as she used to but she makes it a point to catch up with old friends and colleagues whenever she is in town. This time too Sharmila Tagore also known as the loveable 'Rinkudi' by her juniors was in Kolkata for the second edition of Purba Paschim's theater festival.

A party was hosted in the honor of the veteran film actor by the Prabha Khaitan Foundation so that she could rejuvenate the old ties and have spend some quality time with her friends from the film fraternity and outside.

The Pataudi bahu was fashionably on time and she had a gala time chatting up with the old friends and acquaintances.

All the prominent socialites could be seen at this event, including Soumitra Mitra, Suman Mukhopadhyay, Rituporna Sengupta, Locket Chatterjee, Nandita Palchoudhuri. Some of the other prominent faces included H.M Bangur, Industrialist and the chief adviser to the Prabha Khaitan Foundation, Tanmoy Bose, Bratya Basu etc.

The event was a huge success as Sharmila Tagore was the cynosure of attention at the party and like a true hostess interacted with everyone. Tagore also got together with close friends and debated about films and theater.
