Anaitha Nair will star in three films with fellow Malayali-Parsi, John Abraham

The actress features in as many films starring John Abraham. After Aashayein, it's Jhootha Hi Sahi and then, the Kaakha Kaakha remake, which she recently bagged.

Interestingly, both actors are half-Malayali, half-Parsi. "I can't explain it, " chirps the bubbly Bangalorean, brimming over with excitement as she mulls over the coincidence of bumping into John so often in her career. "It isn't as if I planned being with John. It just happened."

Shooting in London for Jhootha Hi Sahi proved a blessing. It was there she met the man she is now engaged to. "Yes, I met Akhil Nair in London. We were in school together.

Then, we lost touch. After our London meeting, we kept in touch through e-mail. Now we're engaged. We're getting married next year.

He is a shippie, but it's onshore duty so we won't be gone for long stretches. We all know stories of men who visit several ports, " says Anaitha, with a twinkle in her eye.

For the role of the terminally ill girl in Aashayein, Anaitha had to shave her head and shed kilos.

"I had no problems going bald for the role. Losing about six kilos was not difficult either. But growing my hair back was more difficult than I had thought. In fact when I met Abbas Tyrewala for Jhootha Hi Sahi I was bald." Like Abbas Tyrewala, the film's director. Coincidences are a way of life for this girl!
