Reports about Akshay Kumar being replaced as MasterChef India host have been doing the rounds, even as the show begins October 16.

Says Akki, "I'm very amused by these reports. I've heard that I'm being replaced by Rohit Roy and then, Kunal Kapoor.

And of course, they say I have been replaced in Fear Factor by a girl!" He adds sarcastically, "I'm the MasterChef but it's other people who are busy cooking up stories against me.

If it gives them enough publicity, I'm happy to help! Maybe they can even call me up personally next time to give interviews on their behalf?"
