India's popular ‘only boy' band, A Band of Boys, has embarked on their musical voyage to Hollywood.
The band has sung and produced a single (Paris Ke Jalwe ) for the John Travolta starrer ‘From Paris with Love', for its India release.
The film will be released in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Dubai.
This action thriller has John Travolta in a new avatar.
Though, quite a few Indian singers and composers have featured in Hollywood movies in recent times, this is the first attempt by a purely Indian or Asian band to create, compose and sing the title track of a Hollywood
film.
"This single is the first step towards our association with Hollywood. The song got such rave reviews that currently, we are discussing two more Hollywood projects for a similar endeavor, " says Karan Oberoi, a key
member of A Band of Boys.
Karan adds, "The sound and feel of the track is very cutting new age, racy and full of adrenalin-pumping energy, while being catchy, at the same time – the best part is, mixing a catchy word like ‘Tod-Phod' with Paris
in fast-paced Hollywood flick!"
With successful chartbusters including "Gori", "Naine Katari", "Meri Neend", this new rendezvous of the band is deemed to provide them with significant international exposure and extend their fan base.
