Few days back, Kareena Kapoor was reported to have moved out of filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar's next project 'Heroine'. It was said that the actress had quit the film because her director friend Lovely Singh's father was not allowed to meet Bhandarkar, even after waiting for three hours at his office.

Since then, it was speculated that the movie might have been canned. Heroine is believed to be a modern-day version of Shyam Benegal's 1977 film Bhumika, which starred Smita Patil. Bhumika was based on the life of renowned Marathi actress Hansa Wadkar whereas Heroine is supposed to be on a Bollywood actress and her relationships with the five men in her life.

Madhur has reportedly made a three-hour documentary on some Hollywood divas like Elizabeth Taylor, Vivian Leigh, Marilyn Monroe and Eva Gardner. These Hollywood stars along with Bollywood heartthrobs like Meena Kumari, Madhubala, and Nargis have supposedly served as reference to help Kareena to get into the character.

A report suggested that Bebo wanted to delete the five lovemaking scenes in the film, which features a Bollywood actor with two kids. It was because her beau Saif Ali Khan bears close resemblance with the character. It is also reported that Kareena has asked for friendly co-stars to be casted in the film so that she can have a certain comfort level with them.

However, the actress has denied the reports saying that she has not yet read the script so there is no question of suggesting any cut.
