Shiv Sena has been protesting the participation of two Pakistani artists Veena Malik and Begum Nawazish Ali in Bigg Boss 4 since the inception of the show. Now, it is reported that the political party has called a 'bandh' in Lonavla, where the Bigg Boss house has been set up.

Neelam Gorhe, the spokesperson of Sena, was quoted stating that the Colors channel did not listen to their repeated requests of removing the two Pakistani contestants from the reality show.

She added that the Colors channel had been served a show cause notice by Pune District Collector. The notice was to enquire that why the show have not been stopped when it has been disturbing the law and order issues at Lonavala.

Gorhe informed that a demonstration will be held by Sena workers today at Lonavla and they will also hold a procession demanding removal of Pakistani contestants from the show.

Veena Malik is a Pakistani model turned actress, who has become popular for her infamous relation with Pakistani cricketer Mohammed Asif and later disclosing the details related to match fixing. The other Pakistani participant Begum Nawazish Ali is a cross dressing host, who anchors a popular chat show in a Pakistani channel. Both of them have gelled well with other housemates in the show and are fetching lots of TRPs for Bigg Boss 4.
