Subhash Ghai announces film school for Haryana

Director Subhash Ghai Tuesday announced that he would open a film school in Haryana to teach various aspects of filmmaking, a release said here Tuesday.

Ghai made the announcement after meeting Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at his Whistling Woods International (WWI) institute for film, television, animation and media arts in Mumbai.

The institute, to be set up in Haryana's Jhajjar district, would be spread over 20 acres of land. It would be set up within two years with an investment of over Rs.1 billion (100 crore), the release said.
