After being nominated the face of Barbie from India, actress Katrina Kaif is all set to portray the role of Radha in an upcoming film titled Main Krishna Hoon.

In a statement given to the media, Katrina Kaif confirms the fact saying that she has been roped in to play a cameo for the upcoming film based on the life story of mythological character Krishna, from his childhood to his adult days. Therefore it is expected that Katrina will enact the lady Radha onscreen.

Though the actress herself is presently in Patiala shooting for an upcoming Yashraj film, Katrina Kaif is reportedly taking time out to get herself informed on the character of Radha.

The film will be a welcome change to her fans and audiences alike, who have been used to seeing the actress in a glamorous western avatar in almost every film released before this.

It has been reported that Katrina was not even aware of her part in the film before she signed the deal!

Well, the Bollywood leggy couldn't say no to her hairdresser, who also happens to be the producer of Main Krishna Hoon. As of now Katrina is staying hush-hush about the story of her upcoming project. So who will play Krishna? Wait and watch this space.
