No Entry sequel is being rewritten from scratch because Salman Khan is in no mood to play a double role

Boney Kapoor will have to wait a while before filming his sequel to No Entry, titled No Entry Mein Entry, since the film's script is being re-written from scratch. Apparently, Salman Khan who at the moment is great pals with Anees Bazmi, put his foot down when he heard that a double role was being planned for him in it.

Double-role films have not worked too well for current superstars, whether it was Shah Rukh Khan in Duplicate or Akshay Kumar in Nagesh Kukunoor's Tasveer. If Khan does a double role at this stage of his career, it would only be for a sequel to his 1997 comedy hit Judwaa.

According to a source, the search is on for a good sequel plot for Judwaa. "Salman's first and only double role has been for Judwaa and it is counted as one of his most popular roles and films.

Ever since the movie released, producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director David Dhawan and Salman have been searching for a good plot. Until Judwaa 2 happens, there will be no other double role for Salman."

Director Anees Bazmi, who is currently working on an action film titled Ready, confirms the news. "I had an idea for a double role for Salman as well as Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in No Entry Mein Entry. But now we have decided to scrap the idea. I'm working on an entirely new script for the sequel."

"I'm a writer first, then a director, and I have to be sure of what I am going to make. We had conceived a sort of extended cameo for Salman in No Entry. Now, we have to justify his presence in the sequel, " he adds.

Bazmi's shoot with Khan for Ready had been postponed because of the star's eye infection. Judwaa producer Sajid Nadiadwala says, "It's been 13 years since Judwaa. Everyone still remembers Salman's double role as Raja and Prem. Salman, David and I have been searching for a suitable script for its Part 2, and I think we'll crack the sequel soon."
