Rani Mukherjee who will be soon seen in the film No One Killed Jessica has managed to create quite a ruckus with the Censor Board due to a certain action of hers in one of the scenes of the film where she gestures with her middle finger pointing upwards.

This act according to the censors is quite an indecent, inappropriate and inept gesture and will be seen as an offensive one. Thus to avoid any further speculations about the scene, the board has given the statement that it is not apt for family viewing if this obscene gesture stays is not censored.

However, director Raj Kumar Gupta has expressed disappointment with the order saying that the scene where Rani Mukherjee is seen walking in the office corridors with this finger gesture was quite crucial for the film's plot. He felt that this blurring of the image would lessen the impact of the scene.

The film has Vidya Balan essaying the role of Jessica and Rani Mukherjee in the role of her lawyer. The realistic film based on actual facts has been quite in the news ever since it went on the floors.

Rani Mukherjee has enacted the role of a lawyer with utmost perfection, but she still faces the wrath from several sources due to her puffing in the film along with the foul language that she has used in some of her dialogues.
