Actress Renuka Shahane has taken up a challenging job by saying yes to Sony TV's dance based reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. She is considered to be a perfect representation of Indian women because of her grace and qualities.

We have first seen Renuka as the bubbly intelligent host of the TV show 'Surabhi' in 1993. Then she became popular as the bhabhi of Salman Khan in the 1994 film Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. She was last seen in the 2004 movie Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa and on television her last appearance was in the show 'Jeete Hain Jiske Liye' in 2007.

Now, after a gap of three years, Renuka is back on small screen with something new and different that she has never done before. She has taken the dance floor of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' along with 11 other participants.

The actress gives the credit of her comeback to her hubby actor Ashutosh Rana. She says that Rana motivated her to try out dancing. He said that she will enjoy dancing and may even get slim.

However, Renuka's younger son Satyendra is not very fond of her dancing moves. She says that her son hates everything about her dancing but the elder son Shouryaman quite loves her dances. Renuka says that she and Rana wanted to tango together.

Interestingly, Renuka's on-screen younger sister Madhuri Dixit is one of the judges of the show and she is not willing to ask for any favor from the dancing diva. We will look forward to see this new avatar of Renuka in the coming days!
