Actress Konkona Sen Sharma does not believe in playing coy on screen and neither does she shy away from speaking her heart out to the media. Her latest film Mirch has hit the screens and Bollywood is already talking about the bold Konkona Sen Sharma in the film.

In a statement to the media, Konkona Sen Sharma says that she does play bold in Mirch but that was because of the necessity of the script. The Vinay Shukla directed film centers on the subject of adultery in a relationship and gender equality.

Defending her skin show in Mirch, Konkona Sen Sharma says that her character Lavni, a queen from the medieval ages is the wife of a king who has already attained the age of 40.

Therefore, she is not happy with her sexual life and does not miss any opportunity in seducing every young man that she sets eyes upon. The actress is of the opinion that in real life too it is impossible to stop getting attracted to different people we come across everyday.

But Konkona Sen Sharma is also quick to say that infidelity in a relationship and breaking the trust of someone who loves you is a very wrong thing.

At present, Konkona Sen Sharma is happily married to actor Ranvir Shorey and though the actress is of the opinion that it is difficult to remain monogamous in this age, we hope that their marriage lasts forever.
