Here's looking at Umang 2010, the annual police mela and the B-Town hungama that went down there

The annual police welfare show Umang 2010 held on Sunday evening at the Andheri Sports Complex had the who's who of the film industry attending. Friends, enemies and frenemies rubbed shoulders at the venue. Read on to find out what went down...

The Khans Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salman ensured that they didn't steal the show from each other and avoided any 'Khan-frontation.' As if on cue, Aamir came in first, followed by Salman Khan. When it was time for the finale, it was Shah Rukh's turn to shine under the spotlight, which he shared with Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

Trying to speak in chaste Marathi seemed to be the challenge of the evening for several star-invitees. Akshay Kumar and co-star Katrina Kaif managed just fine.

However, Aamir proved to be the 'show-stopper.'

He got a thunderous applause from the cops when he said, "Bhoolchook maaf karaa, maazhyaavar hasoo nakaa aani maazhya Marathivar radoo nakaa (Forgive my mistakes, don't laugh at me or cry over my poor Marathi)."

Then, he sang the 3 Idiots song Zoobi Doobi on stage. And the highlight: In stead of getting an actress or a regular female playback singer, Aamir requested one of the 'lady-cops' (Maadhvi) to sing with him.

He later declared, "After Sarfarosh, I will once again play a police officer in a yet untitled movie which will go on the floors in March."

Among the newbies who attended the event, it was a sari-clad Sonakshi 'Dabangg' Sinha (accompanied by momma Punam) who proved to be the cynosure of all eyes. Much to the chagrin of the crowds, she seemed hesitant to speak on stage. Maybe papa Shatrughan hollered 'khaamosh' just before she left for the event.
