Former Bollywood actress Deepa Sahi, who is popular for her role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Maya Memsaab, is ready with her directorial venture Tere Mere Phere. Sahi says that her film will give a light hearted look at the marriage.

Deepa has already completed shooting for the movie and thinks that it will offer a comic look at the complicated things occurring in the lives of a man and a woman. The actress turned director says that love and greed are two integral parts of the world and she has been always fascinated by both of them. Her film will talk about love.

Sahi says that Indians spend around 80 billion dollars annually on marriage but only lucky people get the chance to marry the person they are in love with. Deepa adds that her film will show how marriages legitimise the relationship between a man and a woman and how things work between them.

Her directorial venture has been co-produced by her husband filmmaker Ketan Mehta and ghazal maestro Anup Jalota. She has not yet finalized the release date of the film, which stars Riya Sen, Vinay Pathak, Sushmita Mukherjee and veteran actor Darshan Zariwala. It is likely to be released in February or March. Informing about the film, Deepa adds that she has shot it in the exotic Himalayas. She is launching two new actors Jagrat Desai and Sasha Goradia in her directorial debut.
