Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur share a special friendship, insist sources

It looks like Vidya Balan has found a very 'special friend' in producer Siddharth Roy Kapur (of UTV Motion Pictures).

The twosome has so far been extremely discreet about their bonding. But sources close to the two feel that there is definitely more to their growing friendship.

Now and then

Says a source, "Some of the No One Killed Jessica unit is aware of it. But everything was kept tightly under wraps as it would look like a part of promotions for the film. But now that the movie is out, people are talking about it."

Siddharth was married but is now separated.

Under wraps

Adds the source, "Vidya bonded with Siddharth ever since they started working on No One Killed Jessica which is a UTV production. But they have managed to keep their friendship away from the media scanner all this while."

Both Siddharth and Vidya remained unavailable for comment.

Careful now

The actress has been extremely careful about her liaisons especially after the Shahid Kapoor episode in 2007.

There was buzz that she had grown extremely close to Shasha during the Canada outdoor of Kismet Konnection.

The actor, who was on a rebound after his split with Kareena Kapoor at that time, had found solace in Vids' arms.

Rumours were that the twosome behaved like a couple but their relationship, if any, fizzled out as soon as Kismet Konnection's shoot wrapped up.

Other Buzz

Apart from her being linked with Shahid Kapoor, there were also rumours about Vidya and John Abraham during Salaam-e- Ishq as well as with Sanjay Dutt during Lage Raho Munnabhai. There was also speculation about her and Parineeta director Pradeep Sarkar, her mentor, but she had laughed them all off.
