Ameesha Patel and her parents threw a lavish birthday party for her brother Ashmit Patel

After patching up with her brother Ashmit and parents Amit and Asha Patel last year, she and her folks threw a birthday party for her sibling last night at a lounge bar in central Mumbai.

Says a source, "Ameesha and her family are very happy that Ashmit reached the finals of Bigg Boss 4. For them, he's already a winner. It' a celebratory time for all of them.

The family decided to throw a big birthday party for him at Veda. Many of Miss Patel's friends including Sanjay and Manaayata Dutt were invited.

While the actress took care of all the decorations and birthday cake, their parents organised the event. The actress made personal calls to the guests while her bro messaged them."

BB4 housemates Rahul Bhatt, Shweta Tiwari and Samir Soni were invited.

Veena Malik has gone back to Pakistan. "Also, Salman is the special guest at this party and the BB4 host is expected to attend as he's very fond of Ashmit."
