Salman, Kareena: We don't care for awards

Salman, Kareena: We don't care for awards

Salman Khan is going the Aamir Khan way -- he does not care for awards. His brother Arbaaz Khan (whose production Dabangg garnered several honours at the recent Zee Cine awards except Best Actor, which went to SRK and Hrithik) tweets, "Salman deserves the Best Actor award in the popular category at every award function for Dabangg...

Ignoring Salman may clearly have to do with the fact that he refuses to accept the awards if given in spite of him being present at the event. I guess everybody has their reasons. What is evident is that Salman believes in rewards and a successful film, and not awards."

Meanwhile...
Salman and Kareena began shooting for My Love Story. Here's a dekho from the sets in Pune. The movie is Sallu's brother-in -law Atul Agnihotri's production.

Kareena too....
Kareena Kapoor also seems to be going the Sallu and Mr Perfectionist way. She would rather be holidaying in Switzerland with loved ones rather than attend such events.

"Awards don't matter much to me. Lot of award functions folk requested me to attend them but I chose to go to Switzerland. I am not sure if things are rigged but it seems so because those who don't attend, their names are never declared in award ceremonies. Those who don't deserve, they get the awards and those who deserve, they land up enjoying pizzas at home!"
