India's World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion Khali was already an international star but his participation in Colors' reality show 'Bigg Boss 4' made him more popular among some other group of audience. However, this fan frenzy cost him a lot last Friday night.

On Friday night, The Great Khali went for a dinner with Punjab Deputy Speaker Satpal Gosain at his residence in Ludhiana. When the fans came to about Khali's visit, they gathered outside Gosain's house in large numbers. In fact, some of them tried to enter the house to get a photograph clicked with their favourite WWE star. However, they were refused entry and shown the exit door.

The fans waited outside the house until Khali came out following the dinner. As soon as he came out, the fans tried to push his bodyguards to get closer to the international wrestler. This made the bodyguards bound to open fire in the air just to frighten the crowd, so that they move back and clear the way for their exit.

According to an eye witness, the bodyguards initially fired in the air but then they started direct firing towards the mob thus injuring two of the fans.

They fired several rounds leading one of the fans to suffer severe injury. The eye witness added that the police did not take any action against the bodyguards of Khali rather they threatened to file case against the people, who protested against the sudden firing.

Police inspector Surinder Mohan said that the fans got crazy fire taking a snap with Khali. The gathering of mob and their craziness for the WWE star is quite natural. So, why did not the authority arrange proper security for Khali when they were aware of his visit?
