South actress Lakshmi Manchu is pretty kicked about being part of Ram Gopal Varma's Telegu film Dhongala Mutha (A Gang of Thieves).

As reported 'Paanch ka punch' (Hitlist, January 25) the film will be shot in five days with five crew members and stars. Says Lakshmi, "I'm not at the liberty to talk about my role.

All I can tell you is that it is a very juicy role and I'm excited to be a part of this experimental film. It is rare to be a part of a fantastic team of actors and technicians.

The fact that it is an experimental film created by Ram Gopal Varma whose track record supports taking these kinds of chances is also exciting.

As an artist, money can't be the first choice as to whether you choose to do a project or not. In the end the work is the greater thing."
