Dino Morea gets himself a cut that's almost like a tonsure

Dino Morea has chopped his tresses. The actor now flaunts a tightly cropped look. He stepped out for the first time in his new hairdo at a recent film awards event.

Not known to experiment with his mane for his projects, buzz is that the star has got himself tonsured (well almost!) for a new film. The look is essential to the character he essays and the star didn't mind snipping off his locks.

However Dino prefers to be discreet about the movie. He says, "I am working on a new look for a certain film. It will be announced shortly."

After his Khatron Ke Khiladi outing last year, Dino has been missing from the circuit. His last flick was Pyar Impossible in January 2010.

And his earlier movies like Acid Factory, Gumnaam, Karzz and Anamika remain better forgotten.

Adds a source, "Dino is raring to give another shot in filmdom. He is preferring to keep things low-key at the moment till the announcements are made."

The actor, who is also a restaurateur, was more in the news for his relation with fashion designer Nandita Mahtani.

He had also announced last year that he planned to produce a film that would be directed by Pooja Bhatt.
