Singers Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh's father Ajmer Singh died here due to kidney and liver failure, family sources said Saturday.

Singh was in and out of hospitals the last few days and eventually died Thursday. Singh was a singer and had instilled the love for singing into his family.

He is survived by six children, including Mika and Daler.
